Southern California Campus Now Offers Student Housing

Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary’s Southern California campus is now offering housing in partnership with a Christian university in Orange County.

“We are pleased that our Southern California campus is able to provide residence accommodations beginning with the fall 2010 semester,” said seminary president Jeff Iorg. “In response to numerous student requests, we were able to procure campus housing for the convenience of students where commuting is not a practical option.”

In partnership with Hope International University in Orange County, both single students and married couples can obtain housing and campus services about 10 minutes from the Brea, California campus.

“Being able to offer campus housing is another way we are able to meet the needs of our students, and fulfill the seminary’s mission to assist in shaping leaders who expand God’s kingdom around the world,” said Reggie Thomas, director of the Southern California campus. He noted that residence halls offer a number of amenities including a meal plan, campus-wide WI-FI, swimming pool, laundry facilities plus community kitchenette and lounges.
