Media Usage
Equipment is available in the library for use with various media. A television with a VHS/DVD player is available for viewing video materials and a cassette/CD player is available for listening to cassette tapes and compact discs. To use this equipment or to check out headphones, contact the circulation desk.
Carrel Rental
The study carrels along the south wall of the main floor of the library are available for rental. Each carrel is equipped with a shelf that can be covered and locked, as well as electrical outlets. There is a one-time key deposit of $5.00, returnable upon key return. Carrel rental is $20 per semester. Contact the circulation desk with any questions.
Conference Rooms
Library conference rooms are for students to use as study rooms individually or in groups. Conference rooms may be reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis, and are restricted to Golden Gate Seminary student, faculty, and staff only. Community patrons, including non-SBC churches and staff, do not qualify for reservations. The rooms may be used without reservations if no other person or party has reserved them. Outside groups who include Golden Gate students with them are allowed to reserve rooms only if at least one Golden Gate student, faculty or staff member is present in the conference room during the reserved times. Reservations may be made at the circulation desk.
Lost & Found
Items that have been lost or found anywhere on the seminary premises may be sought or left at circulation.
Microform
One microfilm and one microfiche reader are available in the library. Printing is not available on either machine.
After Hours
Materials may be returned to the library after hours by using the book drop outside the library entrance. When the library is open, please go inside the library to return materials.
