Reggie Thomas pastored his first church while he was a college student at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. He has served as a church planter, senior pastor, denominational worker, and now serves as the Director of the Southern California Campus.
His ministry experience includes: church planter in Tyler, Texas from 1987-1990; consultant for the Baptist General Convention of Texas from 1990-1994; executive director of Central Baptist Association in Albuquerque, New Mexico from 1994-1996; senior pastor of two California churches from 1996-2006 - First Baptist Church of Rancho Cordova and First Baptist Church of Walnut.
Reggie has a heart for missions and has been on several mission trips. He has led mission teams to Belize, Argentina, Brazil and Kenya. He also has a passion for developing leaders.
Reggie is married to Jeannine, who currently teaches fourth grade in the Chino Valley Unified School District. They have two daughters, Amanda Kelsey and Emilee Jean. Their favorite family activity is going to Disneyland.
Reggie's hobbies include golf, sports, traveling, spending time with his family, and working in his yard. He has run several marathons, including the Boston Marathon and the New York City Marathon. He also enjoys teaching and leading conferences and workshops. |
