Kelly’s professional library background includes working in a variety of both public and private library settings. Prior to coming to Golden Gate Northern California Campus, she was the Manager of the Children's Library at the downtown Denver Public Library. She came to Golden Gate through the Rocky Mountain Campus in 2001 after developing that campus library from its beginning stages. She was appointed Director of Library Services relocating in November 2003 to the Northern California Campus.

While serving at Golden Gate, Kelly has been instrumental in securing numerous grant opportunities, initiatingTheological Library Month Celebrations throughout the system, serving as American Theological Library Association (ATLA) Chair of the Education Committee, and was recently elected to a three year term to the ATLA Board of Directors.

Beginning in fall 2011 Kelly will begin work towards her Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership.

Coming from a strong Southern Baptist heritage, Kelly is passionate about helping students called by God by providing them access to needed resources for their training.

In her leisure time, Kelly enjoys quilting, reading, and traveling.
