Intersect is a multi-day inter-cultural event, held on the Northern California Campus the first week in November.
Just as the Christian faith intersects the language, location, and cultures of people wherever they are, Christians are called to intersect with people - wherever and whoever they are - sharing the Good News of Jesus.

October 27 - November 10 - Praise House
A Praise House will be built on campus, containing imagery and information on the history of praise and worship in the African -American community during the time of slavery. Particular attention will be paid to the role of the Gospel in bringing renewal and hope to an oppressed community. This space will be a place of reflection and prayer.

DR. CLAYBON LEA, JR. 
Claybon Lea, Jr., is a multifaceted blessing to the body of Christ. As a
Sayer, he is an anointed and much sought after preacher of the Gospel. As a
Shepherd, he is Senior Pastor of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with campuses in Fairfield and Suisun City, California. As a
Student, he holds a B. A. from Morehouse College in Atlanta, an M. Div. from Union Theological Seminary in New York, a D. Min. from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, and is completing a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies at Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Mill Valley, CA, writing on “The Hermeneutics of Desmond Tutu.” As a
Singer-Songwriter, he has recently released his debut Gospel album, “It’s About Time,” on the 4 Leavites Entertainment Group music label, which received a “Best New Artist” Nomination. As a
Servant-Leader, he is the recent past President of the California State Baptist Convention, Inc. and newly appointed Vice-President of the Far West Region, National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. Dr. Lea and his wife, Janel, have four wonderful children: Claybon III, Jillian, Christopher and Jessica.
