Like all of Golden Gate’s campuses, the Southern California campus is designed to be accessible to students already involved in ministry where they live, without having to put ministry on hold in order to pursue theological training.

The Southern California campus has two unique extension programs to help provide theological training for ministry leaders in Southern California. Both programs require admission to Golden Gate Seminary.

  • A partnership with Saddleback Church, in which lay ministry leaders and staff members of Saddleback can take fully-accredited seminary courses at the church, leading to a Master in Theological Studies.
