Northern California campus – Mill Valley, CA


The Northern California campus (NCC) of Golden Gate Seminary is located in Mill Valley, Calif., only seven miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge, strategically positioned for students throughout the Bay Area and northern California.

The campus, established in 1949 as the first Southern Baptist seminary in the West, is located just off Highway 101 north of San Francisco. Directions

The 148-acre campus houses most of the seminary’s administrative offices, classroom space, the main seminary library, a chapel, a LifeWay campus store, a cafeteria, and the Marian Eakins Archaeological Museum. The Northern California campus is the only residential campus.  It also houses Golden Gate Academy, a Christian preschool serving Marin County and also serving as a lab school for students.

Like all of Golden Gate’s campuses, the Northern California campus is designed to be accessible to students already involved in ministry where they live, without having to put ministry on hold in order to pursue theological training.
