eCampus

The eCampus of Golden Gate is the latest initiative undertaken by the seminary to “accelerate the fulfillment of the Great Commission of Christ.” The Golden Gate eCampus offers courses that are 100% Internet-based with no required campus time. It provides effective leadership training as close to your church or ministry context as possible.

The Seminary is currently approved to offer up to half of any masters degree in an online format, and is working toward accreditation approval to offer up to two-thirds online (the maximum currently allowed by ATS). Classes not available online are routinely scheduled as January or summer one-week courses in intensive formats conducive to serving the needs of commuting students.

How the eCampus works:
  • Students must apply for regular admission to the seminary
  • Minimum of 27 credit hours must be taken through Golden Gate Seminary (through eCampus and/or a traditional campus) in order to receive a degree from Golden Gate Seminary
  • Faculty for eCampus courses are from different regional campuses
  • The “e” in eCampus does not mean “easy.” eCampus courses are interactive and intensive online courses that harness the tools of online learning effectively.
