Non-traditional Degree Tracks
Non-traditional degree tracks are designed for those already in full-time work or ministry who are unable to attend classes in a traditional schedule. Below are options for earning various GGBTS degrees by following certain preset course schedules.
Important: These schedules assume January and summer terms in addition to fall and spring semesters.
One Day Monday
- Master of Divinity – take Monday classes and earn your MDIV in four years
- Master of Theological Studies – take Monday classes and earn your MTS in two years
- Diploma in Theology – take Monday classes and earn your diploma in four years (available to students over the age of 25 who do not have a bachelor’s degree)
One Day Thursday
- Master of Arts in Educational Leadership – take Thursday classes and earn your MAEL in three years
Evening Degrees
- Master of Divinity – classes offered three nights a week – earn your MDiv. in four years
- Master of Theological Studies – classes offered two nights a week – earn your MATS in four years
- Diploma in Theology – classes offered three nights a week – earn your diploma in four years (available to students over the age of 25 who do not have a bachelor’s degree)
