Academics at Golden Gate Seminary

Golden Gate Seminary offers diploma, degree, and certificate programs to prepare students for a wide range of ministry. Our graduates fill pulpits, serve as missionaries, and fill many other opportunities to advance the Kingdom of God. Golden Gate is fully accredited by ATS (Association of Theological Schools) and WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges), ensuring that Masters and Doctorate degreed students will be fully qualified for whatever Christian vocation that they are trained for.

Golden Gate's faculty hold terminal degrees from accredited institutions and are experts in the subjects that they teach. Each of our five campuses has resident faculty, but faculty members frequently travel to other campuses to enrich the experience of students throughout the Golden Gate Seminary system.

Distance education has been a growing emphasis at Golden Gate for over a decade. Online programs have been monitored by the ATS as they have developed, and many of our classes have online components to complement classroom work. We now offer Masters programs delivered completely through online and hybrid course work for students who are unable to relocate or commute to one of our campuses. In addition, we have evening and weekend classes designed to accommodate students who can't leave their current jobs to earn a seminary degree.

We always welcome opportunities for prospective students to visit one of  our campuses and/or contact our staff to discuss how Golden Gate can best fill their Kingdom calling. Follow the links at the right for further information.
